If you are looking for a useful quick small job to do clean and oil the door locks
I have just spent this morning opening the passenger door the catch stuck up and no amount of banging and shaking would encourage it to fall.
Finished up removing the hinge star bolts the angle ground off the welded nuts holding the catch plate on then jamming those screws with a large screw driver and sawing them in half so as to open the door.
On investigation a build up of crud was stopping the catch from operating washed it out with wd40 blasted it clear with an air line. All now working OK
Conclusion if its dusty clean it
