defender td5 alternator change?

any pointers, cheats! rough time and any special tools please.

just changed the engine in my 90 for a later 15p engine, when starting the batt light stays on untill revved, then goes off. doesn't seem to be giving full charge as with the lights on tonight it conked out.

got a spare but i've had two full days on the 90 now and have lost the will to live!:frusty:

Sorry, i missed that...in this case can't be harder than for Td5 Disco ...and that one is quite simple....remove the aux. belt and the alternator fixing bolts(on disco the alternator is together with the vacuum pump which has 2 oil pipes and a vacuum hose that must be disconnected) ... That's all ...no special tools requested

any pics anywhere?

I can help u only with the Td5 Disco.....couldnt be too different, u can make an ideea though
