I'm having a clear out of some of my parts. I took these off my 94 Military spec 110. I picked this defender up direct from the military. I bought galvanized parts to fit at the same time as my lift springs and new shocks but it seems that these parts are actually fine to be used again. I spent a few mins with a wire brush attachment on one of the turrets and spring bases and it came up ok. I suspect a little bit of time and bit of paint and these will be good for someone to use for years to come. Certainly too good to in the bin. I highly doubt these are the original 94 components as I'm sure this land rover would have been overhauled at least once in its Army career. Anyway if anyone is interested in these parts then drop me a PM on here. I wont ship these but you're welcome to collect from Herts. Please note that these parts are heavy duty. The rear springs certainly are approx 1" higher than standard springs I believe.
Spring bases (front) - Top one had a few mins spent on it with a wire brush.
Turrets - Again the right one has had a few mins spent with a wire brush.
Turret rings - Mild surface rust. I didn't try to clean these up
Front and rear HD Army spec 110 springs. Mild surface rust. Also steering damper. I removed this to fit a RTC one. I'm not sure how to test if it's actually working though. It certainly has resistance in both directions and the steering was ok with it fitted.
