Hi all,
I have at the moment a full tilt and as the summer approaches it's being taken off however the windscreen rail is bolted down clamping the tilt and it takes an age to loosen it enough. I have heard there are quick release style devices available.
Do you guys have any thoughts on what's best? And also whether any of you have the quick release things.

Thanks
Ollie

No need to go for an aftermarket accessory, it was only very early 90/110's that had the bolted headerrail and all later ones (from about 1987 onwards I think) had the quick release clamps. I am sure they will be interchangable and they are very cheap. The main handle is MTC4581 at about £4.90 each (you need four) but onto that you need to add the spindle (MTC4583), spring (MTC4584), pin (PA106201), nut (NY106041L) & washer (WC106041L).
As I say, I can't be certain the quick release clamps will fit straight on but I can't see why not, probably worth speaking to someone like All Wheel Trim for a definitive answer.

Ok brilliant sounds good, I found a similar thing on exmoor trim that is exactly as you said, it retails for £7.08 so a good deal. I shall order some and fit them. Thanks for the advice

I bought mine from All Wheel Trim, for a few pounds each and they were posted out to me. I needed 4.
