Hi guys ive just changed my truck cab roof everything lined up a dream except the two front corners i tightened the bolts across the top of the windscrwen frame hoping they would pull it down but it didnt and i cant get the corners down enough to get the bolts in anyone else had a similar problem please help cheers

The bolts arent in mate i cant get it down enough i got ll the 6mm bolts in along the windscreen frame its just the bolts right in the top corner like near where the top of the front door meets the top corner of the windscreen if that makes sense

Yeah but its not the best but would it be better without one at least it should come down a bit more right?

Ah'll go have a quick look at the white bus roof to give me an idea as to what is what... unless anyone else knows;)

Ah'll get back soon as me tea is ready!;):D

Can ya not get some one to sit or stand on the corners to force it down so ya can get the bolts in ? Just a thought it's a landy not every thing always lines up with out a bit of encouragement :D

Work around its bolts tightening each a bit more at a time...this shouls pull it all down at the same rate without skewing....otherwise....as Wangie says you need some ballasts! Try re-fitting the seal if thats all out of wack then its bound to have an effect.

I had the exact same problem last year when I swapped my roof from a truck cab to csw. Never worked out what was wrong though :)

the corners often get bent slightly when been removed its usual better to dry fit and pull corners round with roof away from window and keep trying till could fit achieved ,then fit seal etc, allways fit all bolts before tightening any small ratchette straps make good clamps for pulling corners roud before refitting and holding while fitting bolts, this is main reason why we if having to remove roof dont undo this joint unless necessary rather do windsrceen to bulkhead
