Defender rear door spare wheel

Hi all and merry crimbo,
Anyway enough of the small talk, does anybody know the diamensions for bolting the spare wheel carrier back onto the rear door of a defender as mine has had a new door before i bought it and the carrier was just slung in the back.

dont fit it on the door it will ruin the door, get one of those swing away wheel carriers for paddock etc

I do. Watch your wiper. If you got one.

the instructons that came with mine were all wrong anyway, little bit of planning and lots of masking tape to mark on did the trick.

get one of these that swing out with the rear door. You can get hi lift mounts on them too if you're that way inclined..

Scorpion racing do them, i'd send you the link but its a flash site so just rummage about till you find it.

Got my swing away one from MM4x4 in Worcester. Dead cheap too, tend to get all my stuff there now, bit out the way but worth it as the guys behind the counter know what they're talking about.
