Defender (M) 1995 300 tdi mechanical fuel injection pump needed desperately

Hi everybody, my fuel injection pump has died and I need one desperately. My son is being treated for cancer and the fender is off the road. Its our only means of transport to the John Radcliffe Childrens hospital here in Oxfordshire. If any of you guys have one or know of one going for sale could you PM me or point me in the direction of a seller.

I really need this ASAP, ideally tomorrow

How do you know it's the pump?
Are you going to change it yourself?

My apologies all. We've been caught up in chemo therapy since my last post. I sent the pump away Marmaduke to be remanufactured. Contaminated diesel had seized it solid.

Absolutely no worries, I'm guessing you've got far better things on your mind. Hope all goes well with chemo and I hope your tratter makes a welcome and reliable return

Alright Grem yep it was seized. So it couldn't pump the fuel up to the injectors. And yeah I changed it myself mate. I've got a pump timing pin set so it was pretty straightforward. I just checked everything I done twice hahaha

Thanks so much for your help mate. I had to send it off and I got reconditioned pump. I couldn't wait with the car being need for hospital trips. But I really appreciate your help.
