300 Tdi mechanical fuel injection pump

Hi can anyone tell me if the 300 Tdi mechanical fuel injection pump is the same as a 200 Tdi?

I have a problem with my 300 Tdi engine, as on start up it smokes quite heavily (white) and has a sight misfire at certain revs.

I've today changed the injectors, there is a slight improvement when it's warmed up but it's still slightly missing and smoking.

It uses no oil or water and maintains a normal temperature.

I'm inclined to get the pump refurbished, but I'm open to ideas etc.

Can anyone advise me on their thoughts, or suggest where to get the pump refurbed or know of one for sale.
