Defender lift blocks

I am thinking of lifting my land rover defender 90 by 2 or maybe 4 inches depending on what handles like as at the minute when I have a bit of axle articulation my rear wheel is catching on my exhaust as i have big tyres fitted what I am wanting to know is can I get away with fitting just lift blocks for now as I don't have the spare cash to buy the full lift kit

Yeah, just stick a couple of phone books under the springs, waxoyl them and bobs your gay uncle.

I think you'll find Bibles are better as they are usually a hardback ... meaning better off road capability and something to pray with when you see a pothole in the road!

Seriously Ryan unless you're off roading only I wouldn't go there ... even then they are dangerous and you'll need new shocks anyway. Best to save up and wait for the safer option and get it done properly.
