Defender Heated Windscreen... Part deux

Right, I just took one of the works vehicles to a windscreen place to get a broken window sorted (scum broke into it) and enquired about a heated screen for my 90.

Now, they quoted me £130+VAT which includes fitting.

I think this is a good deal. Only question now is, can I fit the wires to the heater element AFTER the windscreen has been fitted? or does this need to be done whilst they are fitting the screen?

i would thats a real good price as ive just had to do my disco 300 tdi and was the same price for a standard no heated one

Well you,ve got a bargin going by that. I thought the wires in the windscreen would be invisible though, it buts me off a bit and he says there even more noticeable at night!

ai, thas a bit of a fecker.

wont be any worse than my scratched to **** standard screen at the moment though!
