defender front on series 3 ???

I believe a front panel and bonnet would do the trick, but it doesn't tend to be a very popular move with purists (myself included). The Series 3 Stage One V8's were fitted with these panels and looked ok, I suppose it just depends on what you like. I just think Series' are better looking cos they're charming :)
 
have just bought a rover 3.5 v 8 for the series 3 so though its anti purist might go for the defender front as have to strip the front to do the swap and it will give me much more space /?!?!??!?
 
Each to their own I guess. My personal opinion is that the V8 suits the Series landie.....the Defender front however, doesn't.

Are the wings the same?
 
not really sure tbh if it will fit with a bigger rad and kenlowe fan (fed up with not getting warm in winter even with rad covered ) then i am coming round to the series front idea it is more individual being as every man and his dog has a defender these days looking into fitting the v8 has broken my mind so many people with contradicting ideas does anyone know of a place to find a true concise guide on doing it help pls!!!!
 
Do you have to change front wings or are series 3 and defender wings the same.I am also thinking of changing my series3 front.minew was built in Holland with refurbished defender chassis,series 3 body on top
