Defender Bulkhead

Hi

i am a wondering if anyone could help me i am needing to get my bulk head repaired but the rust runs all along the bottom of the window below the foam seal but above the air vents it also is in the usual place on the side pillars

i am wondering is there a company that does a section that replaces the whole lot from the bonnet hinges upwards ?

Not an option i am afraid or i would of been all over it

Why is making a repair section not an option? I and others have covered this recently (Johnny Curt) and all you need is a piece of sheet metal, cut out the rust, weld in new metal and grind the welds down. I dont think the repair panels are for the shelf bit, they are more for the facing. Good luck anyway.

i don't have the tools to carry out the operation thats my problem

i have ordered the part complete from YRM at a cost of 50 quid all that is left is for my body shop man to cut out where the air vents go and fit my old vents to it
