So...my CSW was stolen in mid July and not recovered...obviously...

I had the good fortune to buy a really nice 96 Hard Top last week so I want to put windows in it and I still have seats and seat belt bars as they were in my store at work not in the LR when it was stolen

I'm sure this has been raised a number of times before. Do I...
Buy second hand genuine LR sliding windows
Buy new after market? In which case any one tried and tested and recommend a particular make to buy (or to avoid..??..)
Same for the interior trim. Anyone used after market that you would recommend?

Thanks...really looking forward to getting this sorted - any help appreciated

I bought genuine bond in ones, Land rover from main stealers for less than £40 more than copy one's. Ring and push for discount

I fitted the Britpart deluxe version a few months ago - there's a thread here somewhere about it. Seem well made, no problems or rattles.

I'm tinkering with the idea of blanking out my rear side panels with ally sheet so it becomes a utility as the dogs just bark at everyone - If I go down that route, my windows will be up for grabs. I will just apply sound deadening to the inside where the big hole will be.

I think you will miss then every time you have to pull out of a junction - they make it much safer. One of the main reasons I put them in.
