Defender 90 rear front facing seats

Hello Simon fancy meeting you here
It's not the most comfortable with a sort of twisted sideways sitting position, definitely more Ryan Air economy than BA club class, but if you fit two you can stop every so often and swap passengers from one side to the other to even out the numbness. I reckon pre teenagers probably won't notice but 6'5" adults may find it a drag.


Edit:- the old landrover ones don't really sit over the wheel boxes as they hinge on the outside of the seat and the edge of the box ( if that makes sense) but they do block exit to the rear with both down.

Has anyone tried fitting D2 rear folding seats? Be readily available and if anything like the front disco seats comfy too

Alex, those are fold flat seats rather than fold flat and hinge out.

But they are forward facing....................which would work with modification.

Bit of modification they might work quite well! Fold small and comfy just need abit of work.

^^^^ I'd be surprised if no one has tried before they must be 10 a penny the amount of scrapped discos. Tempted to take the 2 rear out mine I swear they put my insurance up and never get used
