Defender 90 rear axle totally straight or slightly bent

Hi my defender 90 rear axle looks bent is that right or should it be straight ?? Thanks

its hard to say from that pic , it does look a little bent but that could be angle, have to nothing straight to lay across the center line

It's been hit on drivers side. If you look from one side to the other it's got a bow in it but I didn't no if they are supposed to be like that are totally straight

Should be straight, that's for sure! Does it scrub the tyres? Lay something that you know is straight up against the wheels and measure from that to the axle and you should be able to get a good idea from that.

F**king hell! I just looked at the picture, I'd say that's pretty bent! :O Have you driven it like that? Did you feel it pulling to one side or skipping or anything?

I brought it like it came up cheap been hit on o/s needs new door and quarter panel and wheel and now a axle

Stripped it down tonight can't get half shafts out. And measured from disc to disc and its 50mm out

Thought landy axle's were cast so why would they bend would have thought it would crack or snap rather than bend
