Defender 19J 2.5td

Does anybody have or know somebody who has

A rocker cover for the 19J engine

It has one big hole for the cap/breather, and with that to the front, the left hand side at the back there is a connection for the breather pipe.

Im after a new or used one asap.

(got a temporary fix using the n/a one without the rear breather connection, so not desperate but want it right as engine "surprisingly" is ace)

i have a whole 1988 2.5td enjin its partially stripped at the mo head off etc,any bits u nead or u can have the whole enjin if u want,,new cambelt,conrods pushrods 200 miles ago then a hot spot fell out so i replaced with a tdi

It's Burley In Wharfedale, and the company is Jake Wright Land Rover Specialists. They'll sell you one. I've had one of them myself in the past and they've got plenty kicking about. Expect to pay between £5 and £10 used.

ah thought it was directed at me phoning the op to ask him where he was!
when what i meant is i have some rocker box tops if he wants them (for the price of some guinness!) and to find out if he can get to bradford (shipley actualy) to pick it up.

so, corvus, you have an offer of jake wright, someone possibly in wiltshire, or me.

Don't forget Boydy, he's practically got a shed with a door that backs into Land Rovers main warehouse.
