Hello, some advice please? Our 54 plate 110 has just failed it’s MOT as it’s missing suspension roll bars front and rear. I don’t reckon it ever had them - was an ex military vehicle so maybe they were removed for off road capability? Has passed several years of MoT since I bought it and this is the first time it’s been flagged. Could someone have nicked them whilst it was parked overnight? Are they required to pass an MOT? Thanks for any advice

Not required for MOT. They are having you on.

The majority never had a front ARB and a huge amount dont have rears.

My 90 never did neither does my 110. Never had an issue re missing ARBs.

Welcome

Have you swapped garages?
No need to have fitted. Look at the axles/chassis they may not have the brackets to fix them to.

Mine doesn’t have them fitted, and they weren’t not fitted to all defenders.

Garage doesn’t have a clue. Contest it, what exactly have they written as a failure?
