Defender 110 3rd Row Seatbelt Anchors

Hi. There’s a couple of Supports in each read corner of my Defender. I gather they are there for the 3rd Row seatbelts to anchor to - but I’ve long since removed those seats and seatbelts. They are badly rusted so I was thinking just removing them but are they needed for any structural support? Cheers.

No, they are purely there to provide a solid anchor for the seatbelt.

just be aware removing them may reveal more issues with the ali tub where it has been in contact with the steel.
