Unfortunately I have to sell my defender, I am currently away with the army and travelling back home every weekend and with another baby on the way unfortunately the fuel bill is a little high!

There is a thread running in the projects page which has quite a few pictures on it, as I am away in having a little difficultly putting pictures up!

A brief run down of its features!

I bought it as a stripped out expedition vehicle with a few issues which I have been working through!

It is fitted with a discovery 200tdi engine fitted with a 300tdi turbo, don't ask me why as I have no idea!

I replaced the transfer box and changed all the running gear oils when I first got it due to a transfer box problem, this was an untested spare that I got hold of but I have done nearly 2500 miles since fitting it and have had no problems with it.

I have fitted a second hand interior, 2x front seats and 3 seats in the back with the outer two being exmoor trim Trekkers high backs.

I have replaced the two front door latches, drivers door lock and handle and passengers window regulator due to failure

I have fitted a set of roof lights and have 90% wired them in! I will try and get this completed before it is sold!

It is fitted with a mudstuff dash panel which is currently fitted with a cigarette lighter socket and a clock.

It is fitted with wolf wheels fitted with Michelin XZL 7.50 tyres. This have loads of tread left.

It is fitted with new crystal headlights fitted with LED DRL's and osram night breaker bulbs which make a big difference!

It has a cubby box fitted as well.

The galvanised chassis seems to have been fitted well and all the brake lines were upgraded to braided and all metal brake pipes replaced.

It is MOT'd until September next year and received no advisories on this years test. It is taxed until March next year.

The bad points are the fuel gauge is a little vague/ completely inaccurate! The paintjob leaves a little to be desired but it is very presentable. Finally it is currently not fitted with a headlining or interior panelling as this was all missing when I got it! It is also a little smoky but that is down to the valve stem oil seals and I have a head gasket set to do that job along with a replacement timing belt and water pump.

I am looking for £5000 but am more than open to offers
