Decent garages near Plymouth

Good evening guys..

Can anyone recommend a garage in or around Plymouth (Devon) that not only knows their stuff but doesn't charge the earth.

I feel like every time I head into a garage they take one look at me, think little girl doesn't know anything, suck air in between their teeth and say "ooo it could be this or that.. may cost a lot"


I will admit I dont know much, I google, I learn from the AA man or from searching on here...

Any recommendations will be grateful x

The website looks great but I'm actually 15 miles the other side of Plymouth so it would be a bit of a trek especially if Bert needs to stay over night!

Hi, Im in Plymouth and I can highly recommend Steve Piper Autos. Ive used him for years and he knows his stuff...he's just moved to new premises in Cattedown/Coxside area...large well equipped workshop with 3 ramps. He doesnt charge the earth..he's fair and will happily give as much advise as you need. Well worth getting in touch. 07779636662.
