Need the nearside corner piece of trim that sits just above the rear bumper.
And an offside rear light cluster for the door pillar.
Both for a MY 2000 Disco 2.
I would be very thankful for anyone who has one/both and wants to get rid of it/them.
But that being unlikely, mainly I am hoping someone can recommend breakers who aren't rip-off merchants.
Thanks in advance.

You could try:
“Discovery 2 Parts
Quality Used and New Parts & Accessories
Call Paul on
01206 211623
Although I have not used D2 Parts, he seems to have a good reputation.

Good luck.

I just binned 2 minted rear lights last week when I was looking for D1 bits. feck sake. :(

Cheers mate!
how are you? by the way!:):):)
All good thanks!:):) Just getting ready to return to the UK, we are running out of days. I've got a couple of small jobs to do on the Disco first, one being to repair the horn button which has jumped out as one of its small legs has broken and I'm still recovering from finding out the price of a new one, mostly a load of bits I don't need.

Good luck with your search for bits, always depressing!

Regards.

So did you do a 6 month visa like we did?
Bits of plastic breaking off ...... so often a pain. I have developed some ways of gluing them back together but so often unsuccessful.
The person who invents a really good glue for plastic, the world would beat a pathway to his/her door!
I've used cement for PVC plumbing pipes which sometimes works.
But nothing works if you have lost the bit that broke off!

Not this year, we will do the visa next year. So many people over here talking about it and going for it for next year. Must investigate properly when we are back and have proper broadband.

The leg bit for the horn button is lost somewhere in the steering wheel I think, so if I can't think of a way of making a new leg I'll have to try D2 Parts to see if I can get the button off a broken switch perhaps. I bought the D2 off a small trader in Colchester, I wonder if there is any link to "Heathy"?

Cheers.

As we've now done the 6 month visa we are quite confident about doing it again next year. If you want to pm me about any of it don't hesitate to do so and I'll give you all the help I can. Whatever you do, go for it as soon as you get to within 3 months of the date you want to go over. i.e. do all the investigations before that date. (Top tip!;))
Best of luck
