Date of manufacture

Hi,

I am trying to find out the date of manufacture on a series 3 Land Rover, can anyone help me?

the online vehicle enquiry can only tell you date of first registration.

Hi,
Thanks for all your replies.

The reason I want to know the date of manufacture is to identyfy if the landy fall into the tax excempt catagory even though it may be registered on a later plate. Is there a way to identify the DOM by the chassi number?
