Nope, not the famous (infamous) 3 amigos, at least not yet :D. Thing is oil pressure and
ABS warning lights stay on for about 40 seconds after starting the engine. They turn off
On the way, but for about 40 seconds I'm worried. Any ideas?

I've checked yes. Doubled checked, tripled checked in fact. The level is just a tiny bit below the Max
mark... guess I'll pour some more oil in it till it reaches Max. I'll get to the ABS right after.

Well, my oil preassure light continues to stay on for about 40 secs after engine start.

Im starting to think might be something related to oil pump which needs coat of oil before getting to pressure and is just a sign of normal wear as its a 14 years old L series engine, an extremelly robust and reliable one i might had!

I´ll probabbly be needin´ na oil pump in a near future, i recogn.

Well this is something i´ve been noticing for about the last 12 to 15 months i´de say. Once the oil pressure raises then the light turns off.

Another thing that might be related to it, don´t know yet as i´ll have to investigate a notch more, but coincidentally (or not) it began when i´ve started to leave the FL out of the garage. Guess FL doesn´t like to sleep outside, eh! :p

I'm thinking that the oil pump has been draining overnight, this would starve the bearings of oil until the pressure builds up. If this happens daily then there could well be a lot of slack in the bearings after 12 months :(
You need to test the oil pressure with a proper gauge as it could just be a failing pressure switch.
