Dashboard Trip Computer - is it losing its marbles??

Hey y'all in t'internet land....

Over the moon with the new DSE....one minor niggle.....the Trip 2 Computer has lost its mind...

Has been working super the last couple of days, but then on the way home the MPG and Range started creeping up then settled at 99.9mpg and 999 Range.

Whilst I would love and relish this to be true, alas I fear it isn't....

If I reset the Trip 2 Computer, the Average Speed works, the Trip Odometer works, but the MPG and Range are still showing 99.9 and 999....

Any clue how to reboot this thing and try to make it think it isn't a toaster anymore and that it should calculate MPG again??

Duff sender in the fuel tank?

Fuel Gauge reads true....

Is the sender for the Trip system the one and the same that sends the Fuel quantity signal to the BeCM, Dash Fuel gauge and also to provide fuel usage info for the Trip comp??

If I disconnect the battery for a requiste few minutes, would y'all think this will help?

I had this after I'd been messing about with the instruments and hadn't plugged one of the multi connectors back in properly. Might be worth a nose.

mine did this for a while, I reset it a few times and all seems fine....just a weird one.....

No Never did....Part-ex'd it a month or so ago for the L322!!
