Dashboard Lights?????

Hi all,

I have a 2000 model Freelander 2.0DI and just a little confused what lights I should have on my dashboard? only bought it at weekend and half the dash is in darkness.I have looked at the manual but it relates to nearly all specs so was a tad confused

Most of the lights should light up when you turn the key to the II point (just before actual ignition - about 8 lights in total) - are you diesel or petrol? let me know - if diesel I can let you know what should be lighting up (for diesel you must wait for the glow plugs to go out before turning to ignition).
