My fuel gauge light hasn't worked since I bought my Landy so I thought it was time to fix it. I bought nice led bulbs, opened the dash of my 200tdi and found this! They appear hard wired. Any one able to shed some light on this please!

someone has changed the bulb holders to solder in LED's in the past.
