dash bulb replacement?

Hi all just got in car and noticed one of the dash lights has blown ,has anybody tried this job and how do you remove the dash plastics to get into it as their are no visible screws. thanks gazv70

should be a couple of screws just above your steering surround.

just changed bulb very easy :remove 2 screws at front bottom of facia then pull it forward to release to clips holding it at the rear ,lift facia foward .unscrew the dash and lift it up and forward so you can get your hand in the back and then twist the brown bulb holder to release the bulb, remove the green sleave over bulb as you will need to put it on the new one.cheers gazv70

Just a related question. I have noticed that the decrease volume button has no illumination. Surely this doesnt have its own bulb??? All the others up the left hand side are O.K.

hi paul i take it you are reffering to the radio ,my volume control button is iluminated so it must have it own bulb .cheers gazv70

Yes ref: radio control buttons. The increase volume button is OK as are the two above that...............must be a pretty damn small bulb!!!!
