tried to find some answers before asking but could not find anything quite the same so.....
Some of the dash lights seem to have fallen off or they have stopped working.they are the glow plug light, low beam, the symbol for what gear its in (auto) next to the milage.
but luckily the 3 amigos still work:D

any ideas please:rolleyes:

Er no :(, stupid question now that im getting to know a bit about the disco 2, would they all "blow" at the same time ??

I highly doubt it,

But if you look at the Electrical diagram in the download it may show a common point ot look at.

Cheers

There are only 3 or 4 bulbs in the rear of the clocks and all light up the clocks.
I'm sure the warning lights are all LED's.

I'm off to visit RAVE, be back shortly

I can't say whether they're filament lamps or LEDs. The only one which is expressly referred to as a LED is the intruder alarm LED. All the others are referred to as "lamps" and the circuits show them as being the tiny 1.2 watt devices.

Just prior to selling my TD5. I took the clocks out to replace one of the bulbs and I'm sure there were 3 big and 2 small bulbs but thought they were for the lighting up of the clocks.

Found this image on the net under TD5 warning lights but not sure if its for the Discovery or Defender

Possibly the defender, but no doubt the Discovery would have much the same technology

The warning lights are all LEDs i can confirm that 100% and i've never seen one failed but even in the unlikely case of a failure it's highly unlikely to be more at the same time, what do you mean by "low beam" light though? as about the others, was a nanocom plugged in lately?(it can alter some BCU settings without request) ...if you have one plug it in and make sure that it's not set to petro and manual in
BCU- Settings - Instrument pack :
1. Transmission
must be automatic
2. Engine must be diesel diesel

well im in ore of your expertise and i bow down to your knowledge, She had been plugged into the nanocom about a week ago, to see what fault codes were looged, and bless her she clearly has aspirations to be a V8 Manual,!!!!!!
anyway changed her back but not sure what the two top settings are so i left them off (i gather HDC is hill decent, and thatTR C is traction), but what are "police and gulf"

thanks so much:):):):):)

I'm glad it was an easy fix... remember for the next time you work with nanocom in BCU that it used to have a mind of it's own, eventually upgrade it to the last firmare update cos some bugs were fixed... the HDC and TC lights should be enabled... about that police and Gulf thing i dont know more than what's in the guide"
· Gulf: This setting is used to configure the instrument pack for Gulf operation. Its
operation on non Gulf specification instrument packs is unknown.
· Police: This setting is used to configure the instrument pack for Police force vehicles. Its
operation on non Police specification instrument packs is unknown.
