DAP SliderZ on a 2004 Facelift

Hi,

I have been looking at getting some side steps for my 3dr 2004 facelift Freelander (mostly to stop idiots opening doors into the side of mine. Unfortunately I am not really that keen on the 'Style over Function' chromed massive tube ones, however I have found some DAP SliderZ which look a lot more rugged

and may be more useful when I finally get off my arse and go off road

However it looks like that were designed for the non facelift Freelander does anyone have any experience or know if the floor plan on the facelift is different and if these would fit?

they should be the same underneith as it is same chassie but i am sure 3 door is slightly smaller in length ie:3 door is 4368 mm 5 door 4382 mm hope this helps but the face lift one has large bumpers so will be a bit more

That's the ones! You leave the plastic sill cover on. Unlike the guy on the other forum. Just remove the jack point covers and the Z strip sits under the plastic lip protector. It stops metal to metal contact when it hits something. Keeps it quiet and stops damage causing corrosion.
Mine have taken a beating off road and I'm impressed so far plus they look good. Bearmach ones are DAP ones

It was more of a would they fit question as all the sites/instructions I had found didn't specifically mention post facelift or 3dr

Well they fit a three door. The wheel bases are all the same.

Mine were advertised as fitting 97-04 freelanders

Which to me means any freelander 1. Facelift or not.
