Ive got a Series 3, coming up for its MOT in Nov, just want to ask a few questions;

Everything that i can think of to pass it is done apart from the thingy's that tell you that indicators are on (you get a clicking noise, but no lights) Will it fail on this?

I guess it doesnt need hazards for its MOT as it hasnt got any at the moment?
One of the footwells is a bit rusty underneath, but you cant see it from the inside and its been patched.

Anything else its likly to fail on?

Any common failure points?

Thanks

when i put my series 111 in for mot it failed on no lap belt for front middle seat despite never having one in the previous 20 tests, also the drivers and passenger seat was not restrained with the leather straps and a few others to boot, you could try googling mot test and find the mot checklist.

What you got to realise is, some people (MOT testers) are just not familiar with older vehicles and therefore mot them as they would a modern vehicle.
You have every right to query it ,(tread carefully especially if your going to keep on using the same garage)and if necessary appeal the failure.
You'll get a notification cert anyway.
Thats why people with older classic cars tend to stay with a garage that is familiar with them.
