The other morning, I was awoken at 3am with the car horn on continuous blarrrr...
I went down, unlocked, opened the door, closed and reset the alarm.. No further issues.
Because I had been having regular horn parps whilst driving, I reseated all the cables connect the *siren (as its marked) and hadnt had an issue.. until...
yesterday, whilst at work, I went out for a ciggie and heard my car screaming, in fact, it sounded like the horn was on its last legs, so opened closed and all ok..
Today, I walked over to the car. walked around it and again off it goes.. So went in, grabbed my keys and by the time I get back, all is quiet.. I get in, try the horn and its dead... Checked fuse under bonnet and it's blown!!
My question is:- On looking under the hood, on the left hand side under the battery is something marked Siren.. Is this the Horn?
I am going to pull it out and put it across the battery to see if it still works ok. If it does, which I expect it to, tryingto find a fault is going to be a nightmare, any ideas?
Thanks
Tim
