dam oil leak !! :-(

hi all still no joy with this oil leak, ive done new rocker cover gaskets, and still leaks, it only leaks when warm not when parked up in drive, the oil seems to come from bell housing area, at top of say rear of engine/gearbox, its defo engine oil, i cant see where the leak could be away up there gotta be worst place ever, any common leaks in this area let me no,

If you have changed the rocker cover gaskets preferably with the rubber type instead of the old type cork, the only other strong possible source of the leak at the top of the bell housing is the inlet manifold gasket (Valley gasket) end seals. To do these you need to partially drain the cooling system and remove the plenum & inlet manifold. You will need a tube of silicone gasket seal. Have a look on RAVE for full instructions.

I'm a diesel driver so not into these V8 thingies but I'm sure a while back I read about a leak at the front of the engine being blown along the valley so appearing to be at the back.

ive done the rocker covers with new rubber ones, im thinking maybe rear main oil seal ? but then its above the bell housing, i shall of course try your area first fingers crossed
