Hi all
Chuffed to have got it through the inspection (Portuguese MOT) yesterday, just needing headlight aim adjusting and the battery securing.
So the next job is to replace the right hand CV joint - could do with replacing the weeping seals there anyway. My VIN (assuming I'm looking at the right thing!) begins with SALLJGAF8KA, so am I correct in thinking that the kit I need is this one -

I tried calling Paddocks but was stuck at number 1 in the queue, and Live Chat disappeared before I got a response from them...
Thanks!

Hi all
Ok, so I have a 10 spline diff, non ABS. I ordered the correct CV kit from Paddocks (I called them to confirm) but the joint I received is different from the one I removed from the car - see photos below. My parts are on the left, the one on the right is the new cv joint. Am I just being daft here?

you must have an earlier axle
Seems that way. Is this something that LR could have done - fitted an earlier axle during manufacture? I appreciate that it could have been replaced at any time since it was bought, just wondering if LR had a habit of fitting earlier components when building their vehicles.
Thanks for your input - much appreciated.
