D4 stop/start

Does the stop start work in winter on a D4? I’ve just changed my auxiliary battery & it doesn’t stop start, is this normal in the colder months?thanks.

Normally only when the engine is cold it stops, which its is always first thing in the morning what ever the season.
When the engine reaches temp it functions, thats with a Jag. but it was a function I didn’t wont so was switched off, like the other gizmos fitted that Jaguar decided I should have.
A D4 maybe or not similar to my Jag.
Doesn’t your owners hand book explain how/when it functions?

My stop start seems to work all the time, the first thing I do is switch it of every time I get in, I hate this feature on any car.
