D2 passenger airbag

anybody know if it’s a straight swap from grab handle to passenger airbag please? Is wiring in place as standard

If, the D2 is like the D1 there’s a difference in the steel support frame underneath the dash as there was a ‘with or without’ passenger airbag models available from the factory.
Then yes it is a straight swap changing the steel work and the new dash top after a full strip down of the old dash board which I imagine it’s an intense job to do.

SRS wire looms are covered in a yellow sleeve so look under the passenger side of the dash and see if it exists.

Ok thanks I’ll have a look when it stops raining! It seems illogical that they would have made 2 different dashboards when the shape looks the same from above though
