Hi i have a problem that i caused but cannot undo :(

the Disco is a 1999 TD5 manual that i converted to 2003 spec TD5 auto ( i changed EVERYTHING ,wire harness ,engine and autobox all ecu ,bcu, abs computers dashboard ) and i was having problems coding a new key and the vehicle would not start . so using my Hawkeye i switched off the alarm and immobilizer and the disco started and drove perfect no worries .

BUT i wanted to at least try once more to code the new key so i turned on the alarm and now the lights flash and i cannot start and i cannot even access the BCU using the hawkeye ( i can get all other functions like EMS Chassis ABS ) any help in turning off the alarm or bypassing the immobilizer will be great ive left the battery disconnected to try again tomorrow .

i am going to try and find an alarm receiver and change it to see if the key will work .

i have tried the 1515 eka code but no luck .. how can i get the correct code for my disco ?

i changed the receiver to a 2003 spec used one and added an earth (because i broke the tab where it earths with the bolt:eek:) . and it WORKS . pressed the fob a few times and the alarm went out and it started right up ..:D

Well done. We can feel the relief you now have.

im sure you can .. ive put alot of time in this disco to convert it to auto (not as easy as it sounds) and do a complete refurb on the entire vehicle and then get locked out in every way  ...

but now im  the Joy of LAND ROVER

as you have hawkeye set the alarm on "always disarm with key" see this http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/recommendation-d2-owners-184078.html and to "no EKA" ...or if you are affraid that it's not secure this way a main dealer can give you the original EKA but the most certain is to read it with nanocom or T4 cos it can be changed(unfortunately hawkeye can't access it)...also if you get near a nanocom you can put your own EKA in to remember it well(i changed it to be like my card's pin-code;))

thanks i will do the changes as you said ..i though about doing the no EKA and i wasnt sure if "always disarm with key" ment to use the key in the door lock to disarm only and the Fob buttons would not work ..\

sierrafery you are the guy to ask . can the Hawkeye disable the ACE and turn the light out ? because this disco has been de ACED
