D2 18” tyre recommendations

Hello all,

Ive just bought a refurbished set of 18” wheels (which I believe are called comet) for my td5,

I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent set of tyres to put on , It wont be spending much time off road so i don’t think AT’s are a must , and my other question is can I put 255 60 R18’s on in place of 255 55R18’s without any modifications and would the ride be any better than the lower profiles ?
Saying that anything must be more comfortable than the 275 40R 20’s that were on it when I bought it ( my teeth are still rattling & I haven’t driven it for a week).

General Grabber AT3 if your flush. Gripmax AT if you are poor.
Not sure on sizes but if its within 3% rolling radius it may be ok. Gearing can get too far out beyond that. Is it auto? If so stay close to original size
