D1 bulkhead rot!

Hey guys i have a 94 300 disco 1 and the bulkhead has rotted under the passenger side bonnet hinge and all the way under the window seal lip, has anyone ever had to deal with this and do they have any pictures, thank you

I have heard of this area rusting, my '91 D1 has rust around the top of the screen (& I dare not look at the rest of it )....

don't think theres any better or worse areas, maybe luck as to where a D1 will rust

maybe find a scrapper & get some 'body-cuts' to repair???

There a pain arnt they :-/ thats a good idea rich i have a friend who breaks them ill have to get him to cut me something out

If you've got a '300' then the windscreen is bonded in, might be worth getting 2 duplicate cuts from 2 vehicles so you can repair the inner & outer panels easily ;-)

Although it's possible that when you start digging it might not be that bad, maybe get away with fabricating the inner / bulkhead & use a body-cut for the outside panel
