Can't find them anywhere now, found them by happy accident, aparantly they are an old item and David Bowyer used to sell/make them but no more.

I have only seen them as part of a steering guard which is what my mate is looking at.

Cheers guys

can get a pair of jate rings for £15

the bolts are unf thread in the chassis and bumper 3/8 or 1/2 inch i think, think you need a 14mm socket or 9/16

Here are some pictures of the Disco 2 chassis before it went to the strippers.

Most of our vehicle work we do outside in the weather like everyone else. The chassis will stay outside once all the work is done, until we get better weather next spring.

We rent space up at a local farm for storage, both us privately and our company, but it always fills up with stuff that we have collected and never seem to get rid of ;)

stretchie..where you out on Sunday?
over to the plains?

Yo JP, howsit mistah?

Yeah, out on Sunday, for first time in months actually.

Meeting two mates at countess services that have not been out before.

One mate we just bought a Disco for, he currently has no low box or diff lock and it will be loaded up with him, missus and his four kids and the other has two new pups so we are just going for a nice bimble, nothing that would need low box, to see if they like it. You fancy a trip out there soon? This has got to be the weather for it.

How about you? You still doing the crazy night driving? Ooh, I was wondering where you got your breather kit from and how easy it was to fit. I remember seeing it on another thread a while ago.

How is the Hulk going?

I havent been out on the plains in the Hulk since the end of August, been welding wheel arches, floor, etc... but its finally ready and the forecast for tomorrow and saturday is pretty serious...

Must warn you the plains are covered in mud and water, so carefull where you heading to...been out there with Loz a couple of times while mine was off the road..

But now that mine is ready, Loz disco snapped the cambelt, Jons Surf has a broken halfshaft and Adams Shogun has a steering fluid leak...

I got the breather kit off ebay, look for a seller that has a photo saying axle deep..
the whole kit, axles, transfer box, gear box and timing belt cover breather is about 40 something quid...
Its not difficult to fit....its just routing pipe to the front..

Or just invest in 5mtrs of 6mm tubing and a few pushfit fittings. for a tenner.
