Trying to pick brains here Guys . . . I have a 4.6 P38 Range Rover that runs well then will cut out. It turns over but does not fire. Leave it ten or fifteen minutes go back and it will start, then again run well then cut out again.
Does this sound like the Crank Sensor starting to play uo?

Cheers in advance

could be crank sensor thats damaged/worn or ferked. is there any pattern to engine temp and this issue?

have a good look round the connections cos it seems odd that it is intermittent!!

There doesn't seem to be any pattern to me, just random when the car is at running temperature. I did wonder if there was a temperature sensor that would do this but could not think that it would cut the car out if there was. .
I ordered a Crank Sensor today so will fit it tomorrow and see what happens . . .

Thanks
