Hi guys im hoping to have the disco ready for its first outing in 10 years soon last little bits now and i have started into cutting my arches to allow extra room for the tyres i am just wondering for ayone that has done this in the past how did you seal up the gap left in the door skin after cutting the rear arches? im not particularly worried about it as the truck is only an off roader anyway but it would be handy to stop the gutters going inside the door skin
Thanks in advance Pieman

I did think about going for 33s to make life easier but I had the 35s in the shed from my old 90 pickup so seamed a shame not to use them. There are on now I have cut around 3.5 to 4 inches roughly from the arches. My plan now is to fill the gap between the rear door skins with a drop of expanding foam and then cut to shape and put some fillers over it then paint. Rough and ready

Here’s a couple of photos of now and when I first picked the truck up

What is the point of 35" tyres on a Disco?

Apart frm making it near enough?
Main point would be the usual to gain more ground clearance on the axle for a start. For when off reading which is the sole purpose of this truck. In what way do you mean it will be undrivable I have had plenty trucks on the road with 35s before and found no issue with drivability. ?
