Bought L322 cut out on motorway. Waited 5 mins and restarted managed another 40 mile cut out again waited 5 mins restarted.

Linked up to launch computer had a low pressure fault code. Changed the in line fuel pump under tank and new fuel filter. See if that cures it

taximan i have an old l322 diesel here for parts if you need anything, it looks exactly the same as above members car lol.
sounds as if fuel filter would be the main cause.

I've replaced the inline fuel pump as it was cheaper than the uplift fuel pump and sender in the tank. And the local stealer said they sell more of the inline ones.

1992lse may take you up on that if still fault. Can you pm me what bits you have got. Mines a 2003.
Test drive postponed as I need to take dash out tomorrow to get LCD unit Out so I can send away to get pixels fixed. So that's tomorrow morning as well as having a quick look at the air suspension fault.

In tank pump can be repaired for a fraction of the cost....

Search for posts on pump replacement by a member called RJSH (or similar) about changing the Diesel In Tank Pump in a similar manner to how I did my Petrol one...by using a pump from the equivalent X5 model.....almost a third of the price!

Update. Hippo looks like replacing the inline fuel pump and fuel filter solved the problem did a 50 mile trip yesterday no problem although motorway was busy really need to do a 100 mile straight trip when mway quiet as a conclusive test
