I don't think its a leak, it is more like condensation in there, cold cubby box, hot exhaust underneath?????? all cubby boxes can't have a leak, but all seem to be wet.....................just a thought.

Every time yer buy somefing that has a packet of silica gel in it, throw the packet in yer cubby box! Job dun!

Just recharge the silica gel, if its pink or clear then its saturated.

Stick the silica gel in the oven at 100oC (without the paper wrapping) next time your heating up your steak and kidney pie. It should turn blue

you wint get a very good S in K pie heating the fooker at only 100°c it need to be abart 230°c fer 30-40 mins, 15-20 mins if pre cooked

aye could be, its also a good cure fer leaky gaylander cubby boxes and am told it stops gaylander doors fallin orf in the wet even in the average english summer

I drilled a 12mm hole in N/S of box from bottom into cubby, it lets water out but does not stop it getting wet. i am convinced that a shield is needed between exhaust and floor, but i do admit to liking a wet box from time to time.

Just washed mine. Neither my back door or sunroof leak. Do I have a problem? It's as bad as my Series 3- the steering is fairly tight, the gears work, the brakes work and it doesn't leak oil. Must be something wrong...
