Does your horn work? It uses the same supply to drive the steering wheel switches. If the horn fuse is blown, no cruise control. Disco horns are very prone to fuse blowing. If it's not that, it could be a problem with the rotary coupler - hope not cos' they're expensive.

when i bought my d2 the cruise control did not work. so out of curiosity i pulled the switch out of the dash and disconnected the plug at the back. nothing amiss. when i plugged it back together it worked
