Cruise Controle for Freely 1.8 Petrol

Hello,

I am new in that forum. Just registered today.

Please apologize my english, because I only learned it at school 20 years ago. Oh god, I'm old like methusalem...

Anyway.

Since months I am searching for an option to build in a cruise controle for my freely 1.8. But there are only options for the TD4 and the 2.5 V6 to find for me. Or I am wrong?

Would be really fine to get an positive answer from anyone here.

Hello Markus. Happy New Year and congratulations on your excellent English. Don't think we can help you re cruise control as I don't think it was available on 1.8's. Hopefully someone else can prove me wrong! John.

thanks a lot for your writing and Happy New Year, too.

I know that a cruise control wasn't availiable for new Freelander 1.8. But maybe there exist something at the aftermarket for e.g. from Bosch.

REET. . . . . many greetings Earthling from German Mucas, THERE IS A AFTER MARKET GIZMO CALLED cONRAD aNDERSON OOPS got all me caps on phooter all wrong. . . .so go on them there web site , the one fitted to the v6 un td4 are too complicated for most earthlings. . . .oh un best er luck

Hi redhand,

I had a call to conrad anderson.
They have such a cruise control. But without fitting it at the car it cost 260 GBP. That's a lot of money. And I'm not a techical nerd, so I don't know if I can install it by myself. If I need the help of a garage then it will get much more expensive.
Anyway, next week I will ask a Bosch-Service round the corner how much it will be to buy an to let it install directly there.
