Hi all, SHMBO took the trusty FL on a 200 mile round trip today using the cruise control, after she'd stopped for a break & set off she noticed the TC & ABS lights were on & the CC not working so she & switched the engine of for a couple of minutes then set off again although the TC & ABS lights had extinguished & never came back on the CC didn't work so I plugged it in tonight & got these error codes (see pic). Car ran faultlessly as ever otherwise. The only thing I'll add is for about 6 months when you switch to pos ll it rus its checks & all the lights go out but when you crank it to start the TC & ABS lights come on for about 1/2 a second, it has always started whatever the weather within a second, so after all that cobblers anyone got any thoughts where I need to start looking just in case ?
Thanks in advance.

The can bus error is the important message there, the other two are jubberish.
The CC won't function if there's any kind of data bus error.

Hi, I cleared the faults today & took it for a 30 mile spin & the CC worked fine. I had the Foxwell plugged in on live data (AT) incase anything arose but all was well. I ran through the ABS/instrument pack & eng. menus when I got back & no faults were logged so I'll plug it in once a week to see if anything reappears. Electrics don't ya just love 'em:).

Maybe the battery starting to give up the ghost?
Hi, battery was new in Jan 19, Yuasa jobbie 80 AH with 5yr guarantee & has done about 20,000 miles & it always starts within a second of turning the key, the charge rate is 14.4/5v's so that side of it is ok. The car started to beep when you got in after unlocking which tells you the remote fob battery needs changing so I did that today.:)

Hi Nodge one thing I wanted to ask, when I got the FL it only had one remote fob, so I got a new after market fob & at the time took it to an independent LR dealer to programme for me, after yesterdays hiccup I noticed the original LR fob needed the battery replacing (car beeping on entry) so I used the replacement fob which unlocked all doors on first push where as the LR fob I've used since I got it only unlocks the drivers door on first push & the rest on a second push, question is can you programme one fob to unlock all doors with one push & the another fob to require two pushes ?

The single point opening or global opening is set using T4, however I don't know if it needs setting for individual keys, or if the settings work for all keys programmed.
My FL2 allows the user to set single point or global opening via the key fob, but whatever preference is set, then works for all programmed keys.

Thanks for that I'll plug the Foxwell in & have a look in the key/fob programming menu & see what it's set to.
