hi everybody
Got a td5 es disco 2002, just wondering I do not have cruise control, is the wiring already there so I can just buy the steering wheel switch and plug it in.
Thanks

Its easy to do with the hardest bit being cutting the hole, I made a card pattern to fit the switch and cut the hole from that.
I did have to run a tap through the holes for the mounting bracket as the supplied bolts that came with the bracket were a different thread.

Thanks horse62
I will keep my eye out on eBay , so far new buy now £114 but sound easy to fit, just got to get my radio controls and cd changer working.
Thanks again

Connor,

You can buy the individual parts cheaper on fleabay, but it still comes in close to £95 / 100 notes,Although there are currently a set of switches on auction and the bracket is only £13. Or you can buy a kit all included for £100 for the black switch, or cheaper for the grey switch £75, depending on whether yours is a facelift model or not. Try searching for Discovery 2 cruise control kit on fleabay.

I know this as I got a kit last week, just got to get the motor back to fit it.

Cheers

Neil
