I have a 1999 Autobiography and have tried to find details on what I can check to see why my cruise control has suddenly stopped working. There were no problems with it before.

I have all fuses working and the pipes (according to the one photo on rangerovers.net) seem to be all perfect - no splits etc. But mine do seem a lot smaller in diameter. What else can I check?

I cannot find what I need having trawled through this forum unfortunately so help would be much appreciated.

Check bellows......take pipe off back, pull cable from throttle assembly, thumb over bellows hole and release cable - if cable goes back = bellows nakad!

I had this on mine a couple of months ago. It was infact the small vacuum pipe, it has split just where it enters through the bulkhead. It wasnt obvious just peering down, took the trim off the underside of the dash and repalced, hay presto all good now.

Follow the RAVE procedures and it will tell you the answer. Mine was the rotary coupler which took £20 to buy and 10 mins to fix. It is not normally that E.g.usually pipes etc, but by going through troubleshooting it saved me a lot of £ getting a garage to find it.
