Hi. I’m in the process of re newing the cross member bolts as they have started to rust, I thought this would be a simple task but 4 seem to have snapped in the process. What would be the best way to get these out as the nuts are welded to the back and I can’t get to them and struggling to drill them out. Thanks.

what age ?

theres a piece of angle bolted to the cross member with the captive nuts welded on ,drilling and retapping or helicoil is your best option

Hi. I just used a ratchet set because I didn’t want to risk rounding them off
I recently did mine over crimbo, if I had used an drill or impact gun they would of snapped... Used a whole tin of oil doing them screws have you tried drilling them out, use a small drill first and work your way bigger each time
