Does anyone know if there is a control module for central locking? It has started to go crazy randomly locking and unlocking while driving and stationary.

I have replaced all door lock actuators, checked the fuses, replaced fob batteries, tried both fobs, disconnected battery. No change.

I am now driving with the fuses to the door locks removed to retain my sanity. It is still going crazy as I can hear the clicking sound at the glovebox.

Any help appreciated.

I can't fine definitive information quickly, but most LRs locking is controlled by CJB. I'd be looking for bad connections somewhere, possibly in the vicinity of the CJB.

l have just come across this thread while trying to find a fix for the exact same issue with my 2002 P38. It dosent look like there had been any successful advice, can anyone advise.
And yes, both my footwells have wet carpets.

On the d3/4 there is a connector under the door plastic trim that corrodes when it gets wet/rots out and causes all sorts of weird issues, no idea on the 38, but I reckon they are all much the same.
Try a google for discovery 3 wire splice issue/corrosion.
Gary @gstuart might have some pics
